Well life has been so busy, we have been doing the house up and have spent far too much money!

Looking For Insurance

It has been so sunny today we have been out in the garden and now its late we are sorting through some bills, we are looking for a new insurance company to insure the house but havnt been able to find much online, I will also check and see what deals are about for car insurance while im looking to see if i can save any money, having just paid out for two lots of tax the costs of running a car just seem to go up and up!!!.

Where is the sunshine

Last week we had a lovely day, the sun was shining and we were all down the beach even though it is february!! this week the sun has dissapeard and its more than cold!

I cant wait for the summer to come again, last year we moved to the seaside and the summer was fantastic! the kids loved being close to the beach and we all seemed so much healthier being away from a town.

My husband is doing well in his job at the moment and has offered to replace the ring i got for my wedding with a platinum wedding ring from http://www.finest-platinum-wedding-ring.com

When we got married we couldnt afford much so it will be nice to replace what i have!

I hope the weather imporoves for the weekend so we can go to the beach!!!

Have opened a new website which is coming along really well. The idea came about when a friend of mine was looking for a diamond snake ring , there was hardly anything about to look at on the internet or in stores so i thought it might be nice to have a website with lots of useful information about snake rings. Weddings

Well I cant beleive how time flys, its snowing and its very cold!!

Ive been spending a lot of time with my sister in law to be whi is preparing for her wedding, she has a lovely Diamond Ring my brother took her away and propased on a boat it was very romantic.

She has been so busy sorting out the food, going to testing days, trying on dresses and spending far to much money!!

Little man

Adam ( my son) has just started nursery ! the first few times he went he was fine, now he cry's when I leave him which breaks my heart. He only goes for the morning 9-1pm and he is so sweet when he comes home and wants lots of cuddles

I hate having to leave him but I work from home and I cant get any work done when he's about

Ive been busy designing some websites and they seem to be coming together now. I wanted a site for mums like me that provides easy recipes and simple cookery ideas to feed kids a healthy meal.

It is looking pretty good and will have lots more added in the coming months

Could be back on!

Well it seems we may be getting our windows done after all!!, The window guy has called and said he could fit us in just before xmas which is fantastic news!!!

No more chilly nights!!!

It will be great to have it all sorted before xmas as we are planning on having everyone at ours this year, i can see them all warm and cozy round the xmas tree, watching all the old xmas films on our huge TV, because we have just moved we are still using a huge telly we purchased about 5 years ago, but as soon as have had the windows done we can decorate and aim to buy a nice big Plasma HDTV and place it above the fire place

I think it will look lovely and you can buy some pretty good plasma tv frames to hold it up

GUTTED!!!

Im so gutted! the guy who was doing our windows and meant to be starting next week has pulled out!
he is saying its because the company he is buying the windows from has gone bust! but we think its because he gave us such a low quote he has realised he isn't making enough money to make it worth his while. How annoying!

We were banking on it being finished by xmas but now we will have to get new quotes and start from scratch!

How frustrating

Finally getting the windows done!

Its all confirmed we will be all double glazed by the end of the month!!! woo hoo!!! its been getting a bit chilly!!

Im so pleased as the windows are rotten in my new house and we cant decorate till its all sorted.

I will be able to work and be warm soon!!! Hubby has been busy doing his website Designer Car Interiors and has now got a new one Custom Truck Interiors, he's doing really well considering he is new to all this bless him!

Anyway, got my own work I should be doing while the baby sleep xx

What A Weekend!!

what a weekend! I feel like my feet haven't touched the ground!!

We Spent Saturday with my brother and wife to be, it was a lovely sunny day so hubby and I decided to nip to a local shop to get Adam a ball. My Brother hasn't been living where he is for some time so we didn't know the area that well and low and behold we got lost! it ended up taking us an hr to get back!! what an expensive ball!!

When we got back we went over some wedding plans with my brother and his wife to be, we discussed wedding table ideas and invitations as I will be making them!

By the time we got home we were shattered!

This morning we got up and took Adam to the park, rushed around to do some shopping etc then I got a call from my mum to say she is getting married!!!

so a very busy weekend for us!

Nice day

Had a lovely day today driving around in my new car, took Adam to the park where he made friends with two 16 year olds and they played football with him, he looked so cute!!

We are getting our windows done in our new house this month so when I got back I was rushing around trying to find some simple recipes so I could make a quick tea before the bloke comes round to give us the quote.

Not sure what im doing tomorrow depends on the weather as its getting cold now, will probably just drive round in my car !!

New Car For My Birthday!

What a strange day today has been!, I got up in a foul mood thinking today was going to another boring old Monday and now ive just been told I am being bought a new car for my birthday!!!

It’s nothing to fancy but it’s so much better than the heap sitting on the drive at the moment which doesn’t even start!

Looks like hubbys website designer car interiors will be coming in handy for me hehe!!

It’s my birthday Thursday I can’t wait! My husband said he was going to take the afternoon off to take me out but we are both so snowed under with work we may just work instead. Or drive round in the new car!!!

Apart from that ive not done much today, im going to have a go at doing some cards and designs for my brothers wedding later, it’s a long way off but id like to make sure I get everything perfect for them. Will let you all know how I get on!.

One those days...

Its one of those miserable Sundays, its raining buckets and I feel like im getting a cold :-(

The kids are having fun, my step-son has his friend over and Adam is loving winding them up! Bless

Got the roast in the oven which is starting to smell lovely so looking forward to that, plus it will be the run down to bed time! Dinner bath and bed!!

Haven’t really done anything today, just the usual chores, washing, getting school stuff ready, cooking bla bla

Yesterday was a disaster too, we dropped my step-son off at a party and while we waited we took Adam to the zoo. He hates going in his pram so always insists on walking, but one of his shoes broke half way round!! Which meant we carried him most of the day!!

Anway, its my birthday soon and hubby has just told me he is taking the day off and taking me out for a slap up lunch while mother in law has Adam! cant wait!!!

Anyway just heard the fire alarm going off!! Think the spuds are burning !!

Little monkeys!!

I got up this morning and looked at my 2 year old son thinking, ahhh bless he needs a little friend to play with today.
So I called up my friend and asked her if her little boy wanted to come round for a few hrs to play!

I must have been mad!!! They make so much noise!! And I know Adam (my son) can be a monkey but the two together well that’s just double trouble!

So far they have squashed sandwiches into the carpet, broken a game, spun round and fell over, poured juice on their heads and given me a headache!! They have only been together an hr! hehe

Oh well they seem to have had fun though! And they do do a lot of funny things!

Better see what they are up to now!!...................

Wedding on the horizon!!!

I just got some fantastic news!!! My brother has finally decided to get married.
I’m so pleased, Adam really needs some cousins his own age!! And I know his other half will be desperate to start a family ASAP

They said they have had a nightmare booking the wedding, they wanted to get married in the church where my dad was buried but they cant find a venue for the reception on the same day so they are having to put it back a year!!

I like making cards and they have asked me to make all the invitations! Im so pleased! But also worried about getting it just right!

Even though they have only just got engaged and the wedding is just under 2 years away they are having problems booking things already! It’s amazing how far in advanced you have to book things. Everything from dresses, venues, wedding table ideas, the centrepiece, cakes etc.
I don’t envy them!

Oh well better start making some sample cards…..

A Great Move!

Hi everyone

My name is Vicki and this is my first ever blogg!!
I live with my husband and 2 year old son and we have recently bought a new house together which is 500 yards from the seaside. It’s probably the best thing I have ever done as it feels like we are on holiday every day.

My husband works in insurance and often comes home feeling tired and stressed so he always logs onto his PC and looks at really funny things to give him a giggle.
I spend most of my day running around after our son Adam who is a lively little fellow to say the least.
When he is asleep I try to earn some extra cash working from home on my pc

Today unfortunately is not a good day as my beat up old golf would not start despite the fact we had it serviced last week! (Although I did leave the lights on all day yesterday…ooops) My husband won’t let me sell it as he says it’s a classic big bumper GTI that once ‘done up’ will never lose its value! It’s always breaking down though and to be honest I just want a run-around to get the shopping and take Adam to nursery.
He’s been saying he will do it up for years and talks about designer car interiors, alloy wheels, and loads of other boring car stuff but I doubt it will ever happen. He has made a website called Designer Car Interiors it has a great article on there for anyone looking to buy a car seat for their baby as it covers all the safety aspects.

Well it sounds like the child is stirring so will have to dash so until my next blogg…take care
